Stranded on a Desert Island and All I Got Was This Lousy Sunburn (Part 1)

Hello, everyone! Deena Remiel here. I’d like to thank KT for inviting me to her Desert Island for the next few days. I’m thrilled to be here because I really could use a vacation right about now! I’ve got two kids- a preteen and a teenager- who are either the best of buds or at each other’s throats. Either way, they are quite boisterous and I find little peace to write at the moment. Well, actually I do, between the hours of midnight and 2 am! And then again at 7am till 9am. All other hours, I’m scrambling upstairs and then downstairs, trying to find my happy place. I’m flat-out pooped! It’s nuts. I’d wish for school to begin quickly, but then I’d have to go back as well. I’m not nearly ready to give up my full-time authorship. So, a few days on Desert Island Keepers is the perfect getaway!

Today, join me as I set up camp. I’ve brought with me the essentials for a true day of relaxation and romance.

1) A hammock for two. I’ve just attached a cozy double hammock with a plush mat between two palm trees. I’ve invited Michael, Brethren Protector from Trinity, to come join me. His cuddles are of the scrumptious variety, including powerful arms that bring a sense of security, yet are of the gentlest kind, and wings whose touches always send rapturous shivers up my spine. He loves to enclose us in his winged cocoon while we enjoy each other.

2) Frozen tropical drinks. Pina Coladas, Margaritas, Mudslides, and many others shall be consumed whilst swinging lazily in the hammock, enjoying the warm island breezes. Oops! Some may drip “accidentally” on my bare skin. No worries. Michael is here to lap it up.

3) Massage kit. Michael’s brought that. It’s called his two hands and wings, folks! Do I really need to say
more?

4) Music. What goes well with island breezes, warm sun, romance, and relaxation? Sensual music. Some of
my playlist:

Chris Isaac’s Wicked Game
Led Zeppelin’s Kashmir
Bad Company’s Feel Like Makin’ Love
Ravel’s Bolero
Any song that Pitbull is featured in- Yum!

Well, I’m all set up! I can see Michael walking toward me along the shoreline in his boardshorts and a sexy smile. He’s all mine now, but you can have him, too! Trinity is on sale now at Amazon.com in paperback and eBook: Click Here!

Trinity Blurb: One way or another, terror will reign tonight.

School teacher and single mom, Emma Livingston, has been through hell—and back so she thinks. While dealing with the night terrors and active imagination of her five-year old daughter, Hannah, she attempts to lead a normal life. That is, until the demon from those nightmares pays her a visit, too, and threatens both of their lives. Desperate, she reaches out for help—and finds Michael waiting.

Michael D’Angelo is known to everyone in Prophet’s Point, Arizona, as their loving elementary school principal. But to The Brethren, he is the most powerful Protector. Immortal and angelic does not mean he’s without doubts or fears, as protecting Emma and Hannah from Evil tests his ability to fight his tortured past.

As the Trinity is formed, ancient secrets are revealed and faith is tested. When a prophecy is exposed, Hannah becomes the main target and Emma wonders if a normal life will ever be possible again. Hope is like an anchor, but can a mother, her daughter, and an angel overcome the evil determined to annihilate the world?

Ohhh I think you nailed it on the head! A good hammock, a canopied area to get out of the sun every once in a while, the drinks (a DEFINITE plus) a few good books, and a HAWT guy or ten to massage my cares away! ^-^

Hammocks are awesome...the sound of the ocean lapping against the shore and a gorgeous man to serve me frosty beverages or rub me wherever I want him to....

Mmm I prefer a large soft bed in the shade, with some good eye candy walking around, and make fun with when I tire of reading.

You had me at MARGARITA! holy crap!!! NICE Desert island but I would def have to have some SPF2000! I am recovering from a nasty sunburn right now so i cringe at sunlight right now!

I will take a little hike to find a deep dark cool cave. My mancandy will lead the way and set up a small camp for us. A hammock secured to the rock walls....the sound of an underground waterfall in the distance....cool air... all those drinks you mentioned! YUMMMMEEEEE for everything!!!!!!! Signs....oh for that cave....

Full time authorship? Even if it's just for the summer - I'm jealous. I keep trying to get there. (Now I'll have to work all day with 'The Impossible Dream' playing in my head. Thanks a lot.)

For full relaxation we'd also need some chocolate yummies. Oh - and to change the music. Classic 70s & 80s; something like Q105 out of Tampa Bay which is my station thanks to online radio - I'm from Myrtle Beach w/is a long way from Tampa!

BTW, Pawley's Island is right down the road from me. Want me to pick up the hammock?

Mary Ann, I'd love for you to pick up a couple extra hammocks! Seems we're gonna need them with all the angels and ladies that are showing up! lol
