As I was writing my post for Katiebabs on the heroines I’d liked to be (when the post goes live on Katie’s blog this phrase should be linked to it) I thought of the romances I would never get rid of. I thought the lists would be the same, but surprise—they weren’t! Never would I have guessed that.
So, if I had to pair down my collection to just 5 books (a horrible, horrible thought… shudders…) these are the ones I would keep:
Endearment by LaVryle Spencer: Blueberries and vatermelon on a rustling corn ticks filled bed. Karl is one hunky Swede! Spencer wrote fantastic keepers and was my first romance author. She will always be dear to my heart.

Charming the Prince by Teresa Medeiros: A very literal raid for his heart. The only story I recommend with kids of an age to talk without reserve for personal tastes. I am completely confident saying this because I have recommended this book in the past and with great results.
Silence Speaks for Love by Emma Goldrick: She who holds her tongue gets her man along with help from an enormous well trained dog and feisty aunt. It’s a classic, my favorite Harlequin Presents to date… or really category in general.
Smooth Talking Stranger by Lisa Kleypas: Baby plots have never looked so good or made me laugh so hard.
Love is Blind by Lynsay Sands: He wants to keep her blinded to his looks and she just wants to get access to her glasses so she can see him perfectly once again. It’s so sweet. I never fail to sigh when reading it.
Now it’s your turn. You can only keep five romances; what would you pick?
