My Play List

As I wrote yesterday, I write to music. I recently bought an I-Pod Touch (64G...what was I thinking) and I've been slowly adding music that either catchs my ear or that I already like. Since I was working on an erotic romance, I was looking for music that either was sexual in nature or that fit the mood I was trying to set. Here, in no particular order, is the playlist that I came up with for the story.

I Get Off by Halestorm
Letters from the Sky by Civil Twilight
Addicted by Saving Abel
Closer by Nine Inch Nails
Gold Gun Girls by Metric
Dragonfly by Shaman's Harvest
The 50 Most Essential Classical Music

Okay, so the classical doesn't fit, but it's great writing music. LOL! It's been fun trying to find songs that fit and I can't believe I waited so long to get an I-Pod. But, it's pretty and it can hold a buttload of music.

Does anyone else out there write to songs specifically for their stories? Any suggestions for songs?

Can't help you with the song titles and who done it's...I rearly know the singer...I just like music in general. I just find a station I like and I'm in heaven. Can't find a local station??? Try Pandora on the web, you can design your own listen pleasure...It's really cool and free, for 40 a month anyway.

I've done the Pandora thing, but sadly they end up just playing the same stuff. it gets old quick.

There's a station here in Portland that plays all kinds of stuff and I've gotten into a lot of groups like Metric, Civil Twilight, Silversun Pickups, etc. through them.

I like music, not crap. I'm still not a big believer in country or rap. :P
