Something Different. And a giveaway!

Yesterday, we drooled over some fantastic covers (well I did, at least), so today I thought I'd take a different turn by showing you a few covers that went utterly, utterly wrong. These were all created by Longmire from World of Longmire and his readers, so no, they aren't the real thing...they're better than the real thing.

Are those brilliant or what?

In honor of embarrassing covers that were probably incredibly hip in the 80's (or...never), I'm giving away a set of vintage Harlequins. To enter, all you have to do is follow my blog, ¡Miraculous! and leave your email address in a comment on this post.

I know, I know -- shameless self-promotion. But today, I realized I didn't really get a chance to introduce myself during yesterday's post (if you couldn't tell, I was a little distracted...) so in case you wanted to know, yeah. Hi, I'm Stephanie and I write ¡Miraculous!.

p.s. This is what I look like when I am very, very excited:

Just thought you might like to know.

OMG I shouldn't have looked at this at work. I couldn't stop laughing. "Pull My Finger" did me in.

I truly almost lost my voice howling at those covers. What a wonderful sense of humor. Actually, I think they are so funny because many of us have thought such irreverant thoughts while looking at some of the outlandish art on the covers of romance novels. I thank you for sharing this . . . gave me an "end of the week" laugh that I really needed.

blessings . . .
