I went to a dinner with Bronwyn Green, one of my roomies for the conference. While there, I had an epic misunderstanding...
There's a happy ending to this story. I posted this comic on my blog and sent a link to the real Louise Fury. She loved it. She re-posted it, sent links, tweeted about it, and then commented that it was the BEST submission EVAR. I now have her permission to submit anything I want to her. Told you it ended well.Plus, she then requested a copy of this strip so that she could print it off and frame it for her office. :D Don't get any better than THAT!!!

@D.L-OMG! I thought I'd addressed your comment already!!!! Thank you and yes, me too. The part of the story I didn't tell here was that I was part of a panel the next day. The Sex Therapist showed up and was flirting with me so badly that my buds came over and said, "Hey, Mia, you reeeeeally oughta clear that up." So, in the part of the presentation where we tell a little about ourselves, I explained the hilarious confusion the night before, thinking she could gracefully back out, no problem.
BUT she spoke up and said, "Aw, and here I thought, I still have it! I'm nearly 50 and I go to a conference where people are throwing themselves at me for sexual favors!"
OMG! The room exploded with laughter. She was a great sport about it and I have a story for the rest of my life. LOL.
