About Me featuring Bridget

It's Bridget's turn!! Bridget is from Portland, Oregon, an aspiring writer and happily single!

Favorite Reading Position
Laying on my stomach in bed

Best love song
I have a lot of favorite love songs. The one I've been listening to a lot lately is "Come a Little Closer" by Dierks Bentley. Yes, it's country, which I'm not a big fan of, but the song is sexy and so is the video. :)

Author everyone loves but you don't
Christine Feehan. There's someone else, but I won't list her name b/c I don't want to get beaten up. :)

If you could be in one book/series/world which would you pick
This one goes back to my teen years, but I'd probably say the world of Valdemar created by Mercedes Lackey. Those books are what saved my sanity when I was a teen.

How old is your inside voice
It's a toss-up between a 12 year old boy and me. :)

If you could be a hero who would you be
Roarke cuz I'm sure sex w/ Eve is interesting. :) I'm weird, what can I say? And it doesn't hurt that he's super hot and uber-rich. :D

Favorite Sex Song
Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye, anything by Enigma, and When the Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin (which isn't a sex song, but what a great beat to strip to)

What heroine is most like you
I think it's Jessica Trent from LC's Lord of Scoundrels. She's too smart for her own good and isn't afraid to speak her mind. :)

What heroine would you like to be
Mercy Thompson. She's so strong and able to handle just about anything that life throws at her.

Boxers, Briefs, boxer briefs, kilt (I say we add commando)
I'm a sucker for kilts. Highland Games anyone? :)

Favorite book set on a tropical island
I dunno if I've ever read anything set on a tropical island other than Lord of the Flies & that was NOT a sexy book. Ick!

What hero is most like your significant other
I am completely & totally single, so this question is moot.

What hero would you like to be your significant other
Simon Hunt from Secrets of a Summer's Night by Lisa Kleypas. He was so sexy, rich and powerful, yet he loved Annabelle for who she was. If that's not sexy, I don't know what is. :)

If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 things would you bring
Sarai already stole Richard Armitage, so I'd have to say a never-ending supply of water, books and toilet paper. :)

Favorite drink to bring to the DIK party
Since I seem to be the only one of the group that doesn't drink alcohol, I'll say a virgin margarita. I can still act like I'm part of the party, but I'll be the only one who is sober. That can make life interesting, I'm sure. :)

Bed reading is the best! You know, being me, I'd wondered what it's be like doing the squlchy with most of the Psy/Changeling women and men. Cuz, ya know. Eh. Horray to books that saved us during out youth! Maybe that should be a booklist :P
Great interview!! Which reminded me, weren't we bringing the heroines onto the island? *bats eyelashes*

Yay for Bridget!!!

Great answers, and hey, why can't you both bring Richard Armitage? We're bringing fictional charactrs, so we should be able to bring 2 or a real one.

Oh, LOL on Lord of Flies. Let's hope that doesn't happen on our island!!

Yay! for neverending supplies of toilet paper.

And I hadn't heard of Simon, but he's obviously a hero I should be checking out.

Mmm...Led Zeppelin. I think their music is just made for sex. LOL!

Very excited to be here today! Yay!

I heard Led Zep on the radio earlier and I cranked it and thought of you.

Heh. But not in a sexy way. I swear.

:p

LOL, Lisabea. he-he I'm not trying to make you think naughty thoughts. Honestly. :D

I'm watching Aliens. Remember when Michael Behn was super hot? I love the flirting between him & Ripley. Mrowr. And the hot sexin' between him and whats-her-face in Terminator. Him holding down her hands when they're sexin'? *sigh*

I've never tried reading on my stomach...interesting :)

I've never heard of Simon either, but I'm gonna check him out. Roarke however, I'm a new fan of, and I loved the reason you picked him if you were going to be a hero!

I had totally forgotten my answer to the hero question. Now I read it & wonder what was going thru my mind at the time. LOL!

Simon is the uber-hero for me. If you've seen North and South, read Secrets of a Summer's Night by Lisa Kleypas. There are some major similarities & Simon is just hot. He's sexy and take-charge, w/o being too Alpha. The first time he and Annabelle make love? Le sigh. :)

Simon's cutest part (IMO) was their honeymoon with the shoes. I laughed so hard. Cam's more my type though. Simon's a bit too, how did Daisy put it- too tall ;)? Hehe. I kid.

Bridget Locke said...

Aw, but see, I'm 6'1". I must have a tall hero, otherwise I tower over him and feel unfeminine. I think that's why I prefer books with tall heroes. I don't find shorter men attractive. :D

Tracy said...

OMG BL you're 6'1". I'm like a little liliputian that you can step on! lol Yes, you DO need a tall hero! I really need to read more Kleypas - there are just so many!

Love, love, love Led Zepplin. How coul you not?

Great answers sweetie!

Hi Bridget
As usual I'm late but here I am.
Your favourite sex song is the same as mine "Let's get it on" by Marvin Gaye. I also love anything by Led Zeppelin.

However do you find the time for two blogs? - I can hardly update one LOL
Not a drinker huh? Well then you can be the designated driver on the water since there are no roads :)

We should meet up for a highland games sometime! Maybe half-way between Seatown and Portland? Fun. Did you see that the Beaverton Powell's is having ANOTHER massive romance author event? I am sooo jealous. I want to move to Portland.

Ciara-The Highland Games here in Portland is awesome! It's held at Mt. Hood Community College. I'm not going this year, but I've been there three times. All those big burly men in kilts. Mrowr! Of course, once they're wearing street clothes...not so much. he-he

We should definitely hook up sometime. Find a great bookstore and get lost for awhile. :)

Yes, I'm 6'1". I love it...for the most part. I hate trees that are overgrown though. The other day while walking to my car I had to walk under some. Ended up with all kinds of crap in my hair. *sigh*

Sarai said...
