Our hot hut honey for Friday is Shannon!
Favorite Reading Position
I read in bed. :P
Favorite Heroine
A tie between Eve Dallas and Meljean Brook's Lilith from Demon Angel.
Author everyone loves but you don't
Charlaine Harris, Christine Feehan, and, er, I got off the crahck ghravy traihn two books ago.
If you could be in one book/series/world which would you pick
Charles de Lint's Newford.
How old is your inside voice
Depends on the day. It's either a twelve-year-old boy ("Boobs! Porn!") or a hard-bitten, cynical curmudgeon.
Favorite love song
Oh yay, bizarre musical tastes FTW! "Arrow" by Cheryl Wheeler or "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden" by Lynn Anderson.
If you could be a hero who would you be
Probably someone like Miles Vorkosigan, who is both brilliant and smart and full of self-confidence. He's not terribly attractive, but he still gets laid, too, and nobody has any complaints hehe.
What heroine is most like you
Oh, that's hard. Maybe Sarah Fielding from "Dreaming of You" by Lisa Kleypas. Only I'm more cynical and use more colorful language :P
What heroine would you like to be
Eve Dallas, without the tragic past but definitely with all the Roarke.
Boxers, Briefs, boxer briefs, kilt
Kilt. Oh yeah.
What hero is most like your significant other
Erm... I have no significant other.
What hero would you like to be your significant other
Hmm. Not sure about this one. I don't know if I could live with most of the men from my books for the long haul without wanting to smack them occasionally.
If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 things would you bring
A laptop, some source for caffeine, and lots of music.
Favorite drink to bring to the DIK party
slippery nipples.

It sounds like Eve Dallas is a favorite among the DIK ladies :)
Shannnnooooooonnnn!~~
You weenie with the Charlaine Harris! Hey, did you read the book you, er, most so surprisingly won back, jeepers when was that Shannon???? OMG I thought for sure it was going to say Josh Lanyon instead of Charlaine Harris.
Heh.
And speaking of blogs...well bridget was...when are we doing the Sunday morning Haiku again? That was such a riot!
FYI~I've never read la nora. Oh. Noes.
Okay I have to check this Miles Vorkosigan out? What book is he from???
Yes, Miles sounds fabulous. Where can we find him?
And I totally get the Lilith love now. Isn't she great?
Also, how unusual is it that we are name twins. No one ever has my... er, our name. I think you are only the second or third one I have ever known. :) (I love having a semi-unique name.)
I love your inside voice comment - very funny!
Slippery Nipples?
I'm not familiar with Miles Vorkosigan either. Need to check that one out.
One thing I love about Shannon C is that her reading background is incredibly diverse.
Yeah. I'm pimpin' ya. So what.
Bed is the best place for reading. The very best. :D
Great Answers, Shannon...and I'm so happy to hear somebody thought to bring music.
Eve Dallas and Lilith Milton!!! Both very kick ass heroines. I love them both myself!
And I gotta ask: What's in a slippery nipple?
*smacks forehead* how could we forget music I go insane in silence... Seriously hence why I talk so much!
Hi Shannon C!
Add me to the chorus of who is Miles Vorkosigan.
I loved Sarah from Dreaming Of You!
Good answers!
I visit your blog (I even won a book there!Yay!) and I love your reviews at TGTBTU.
Is it possible to live with any man for an extended period of time and not want to slap him?
If so, someone please tell me where to get one of those men. I want to trade mine.
Great heroines!
But Roarke is mine. Sorry.
I'm with you on Eve Dallas and Roarke - see my MySpace profile LOL.
