About Me featuring Sarai

So I’ve had this stinkin song “Getting To Know You” from the musical The King and I stuck in my head for DAYS! I know, it’s sad. With everyone sending in their “about me” answers I just couldn’t shake it. (CJ – that would have been a good one for your song that gets stuck in your head contest…but I’m afraid I’m the only person it applies to! lol)

Tracy

Anyway, today we start our round robin of About Me with Sarai from Kansas City:

Favorite Reading Position:
Leaning back in a chair feet up over the one side, head on the other with a diet coke close at hand *sigh* the good life

Favorite Heroine:
Sarah Feilding from Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas. Why? A) she's a writer like me, B) she's smart like me and C) She wears glasses, again like me.

Best Love song:
Always by Bon Jovi

Author everyone loves but you don’t:
JR Ward *ducks* I just don't like the BDB series I would read something else by her though...

If you could be in one book/series/world which would you pick:
Lara Adrian's the BREEDS I need me some Harvard *g* And if I can't have him then I don't want to be in the series any longer.

How old is your inside voice?
A 12 year old boy I am told by my mother no less *pouts*

Boxers, Briefs, boxer briefs:
Boxers or boxer briefs or nothing...

If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 things would you bring:
Richard Armitage, The knowledge of how to do Indoor plumbing as well as equipment and a match (What?)

Favorite drink to bring to the DIK party:
Cherry Coke with a bottle of Captain Silver... YUMMY!!!

You can visit Sarai here and on her blog Thoughts of an Aspiring Writer.

*snicker* the knowledge to do indoor plumbing...that's a good one! :)

Now the question is: will you use the match to provide us with fire or will it find it's use in the bathroom after you install the plumbing?

(My inside voice is just like yours. Prepubescent male.)

Um Sarai - I believe I might have mentioned this before, but ah......
RICHard is mine!!! Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine

Achem - now that that's out of my system your reading place sounds very comfy. I can just picture it.

Kristie: Just because I mentioned him first and I managed to bring him along doesn't mean that you automatically get him.
I will share but remember I brought him in the first place.
As for the reading place it is quite lovely!!!

LOL Indoor plumbing would indeed be very useful.

I enjoyed the Breed books as well although I do also enjoy JR Ward (though a bit concerned on the direction she is taking with her latest books).

Stephanie*magic* said...

I just cant get into the Breed books. I know i've only read one, but that was enough for me. :)
Now JR, I love the BDB!! :D

And yeah, plumbing is a biggy, lol!!

OMG, toilet paper!!! (I'm so late with these things, this is what I get for working at a place with internet restrictions)

That's what we need! Someone needs to bring that!!! Need toilet paper O_o! Ugh, I cannot live without running water. No more outhouses and holes for me!

I like the Breed Series so far. Very interesting idea.

Sarai I LOVE the Breed books.
Why did I not think of indoor plumbing? That's brilliant!!!
I agree with you on J.R. Ward - not for me, too much angst. Why wouldn't she have the guys do the nasty and be done with it?

Sarai said...

bev: THAT WAS MEAN... Damn it now I have to gawd I hate that song.
Tracy: See I make perfect sense

Wendy: I know doesn't he ROCK *sigh* he gets his own book OMG isn't that GREAT!!!!

Aymless: Yes I was thinking hard with the indoor plumbing Sarai doesn't do outhouses.

Stephanie: I Know right? See I was thinking about it *points to temple*

Alys: JUst send Tracy your Edited list of things to bring cause I don't think they will let us use books... although I hear leaves are comfortable as long as you choose the right ones...

Wave: I know see that's why I say you will all worship me like the godess I am... b/c of indoor plumbing.

Hey Sarai!
I love Lara Adrian's Midnight Breeds, too! Andreas Reichen's story is after Niko's, but Iike you, I'm looking forward to Harvard's story. But Lara says he needs to go through some bad stuff first.... OOoo la la. Will make his HEA all the sweeter if you ask me!

OMG! A Picture of Jensen Ackles and a Havard fan as well. Hmmmm Harvard....Hmmm Jensen.......

Oh wait, do you think Jensen could play Harvard in the series about the books that I have made up in my head?

Sarai said...

Yes Say he could. I mean what a fantastic fit. Now if only I could get Lara to name Harvard's heroine after me I'd be good to go *wink*
