About Me featuring Ciara

Ciara (or KEER-ah if you still need help with that) is our Island girl of the day.

An avid reader and aspiring author, Ciara lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where she can be found drooling over books, pushing books on her friends, and bragging about how much Seattle rocks. She has a fascination with men in kilts, though has yet to get Mr. Wonderful to wear one, not through lack of trying.

You live in Seattle? I've only been there once in college and it was AWESOME!! My sister and I made friends w/ two bellhops (is that politically correct?) and they took us to a music festival. Everyone in that city was ridiculously nice!

Great choice in Adam Hauptman, Ciara! I loves me some Adam Hauptman.

But I have this feeling like I'm going to end up loving Charles even more...

Kim- I stole the pic from Tracy's myspace page cuz I lusted it so much. ;) I've read almost all of Katie MacAlister's books, just not her very first one published under her real name, Martha Arends, and two of the regency ones. You Slay Me is my favorite.

ana- yup. it's why I married him at 21, cuz I knew if I didn't snatch him up fast someone else would. He's my Wild West Wyoming boy and he's a sweetheart!

sarah - you HAVE to read alpha and omega in On the Prowl before Cry Wolf comes out. You have a month. I can't wait!

KatieR- Seattle is the shiznit. If you ever come visit again I'll show you around and we can drool over my favorite bookstores.

MK - Alpha and Omega and Cry Wolf are in the 3rd person, switching mainly between Anna and Charles, therefore we HAVE to get to know Charles better than we know Adam, resulting in him winning more reader hearts. If we had the same access to Adam's thoughts and feelings as we will to Charles's? Who knows? Maybe we can convince PB to rewrite the Mercy series from Adam's point of view next. ;)

LB - I haven't tasted it, but anything with that name has a lot of potential. One of the local breweries has a beer called the Kilt Lifter and it is quite good.

christine - yeah, I hadn't thought of that. I don't think the Mercy and Ethan would have as much sexual tension as their current pairs. lol. They'd certainly get along well though.

little alys - the longer you wait, the more you'll kick yourself for holding off. MERCY IS TEH AWESOME!!!

lesleyW - I've always loved the idea of living in the jungle in a TREE HOUSE. But I don't want to be a psi. they are scary.

Sarai - Simi cracks me up. Though honestly I only like cheap glittery things, like craft-store paste rhinestones. Expensive things make me too afraid I'd lose them.

Ok - I of course love Kilt Man. Isn't he fine? Mm good. Just like Campbell's soup! lol

Man like Ethan? holy cow what a lucky woman!

I've never been to Seattle but have some friends there - besides you - I'll have to get up there soon!

Me and shiney objects - great match. I'm either Simi or Valkyrie! lol

Why I have a 4 year old in my head also. We can have a playtime together for our lil brains. :D

Ooh, love your kilt man. You really need to come back to Chicago during Celtic Fest. Kilted men EVERYwhere! And bagpipe music. Is much fabulousness.

Ciara said...

Shannon - Sweet!! I would LOVE that. Last year on my birthday I dragged my dad and little brother to a Scottish Games festival near here. We watched men in kilts throwing logs. I don't think my dad and bro were too impressed, but I was. ;) YUM!

Adam Hauptman, cuz then I'd get to bang Mercy Thompson

OMG, I loved this! And isn't it true? Sometimes you just love the heroines that much. ;-)
