Please Welcome Wynter Daniels!

Please welcome the fabulous Wynter Daniels to the island! It’s her first time here and I’m so excited she agreed to join us! Wynter Daniels is the naughty alter ego of contemporary romance author Dara Edmondson. She lives in Central Florida with her husband of more than twenty years and their two nearly grown children. They are all the slaves of two very demanding cats. After careers in marketing and the salon industry, Wynter’s wicked prose begged to be set free. She currently writes for Ellora’s Cave, Loose Id and Red Sage Publishing. You can find her on the web at www.WynterDaniels.com. She is also one of the Naughty Author Chicks at www.NaughtyAuthorChicks.Blogspot.com.

Since this is your first time on the island, I have some important questions for you!

1. If you were stuck on a desert island what 3 things would you bring with you?
Can a person count as a thing? If so, my husband would be number one. If I didn’t bring him along, I’d be wondering what he was doing while I was gone. Next would be a giant size jar of Vaseline. Gotta keep moisturized and you never know when you’ll need glossy lips. After that I’d have to bring along a computer. No electricity you say? I’ll only bring it if it’s hooked up to a super-long extension cord. I don’t really need the Internet. I’d get so
many books written, it would be obscene!

2. Boxers, Briefs, boxer briefs, kilt, commando:

Definitely boxers, but they have to be nice, silk ones and they can’t be too tight or too loose.

3. Favorite Heroine:

Wow – this is a tough one. I love the petulant types like Scarlet O’Hara. She had so much spunk and always went for what she wanted.

4. Favorite Sex song:

Now that’s easy – Chris Isaac’s Wicked Game. It’s the only song that makes me swoon.

5. What accent is guaranteed to make you do naughty things?

Definitely French. I took French all through middle school, high school and even a year in college. Can I hold a conversation now? Of course not. But it’s such a beautiful language, I don’t care what’s being said, just keep saying it in French.

6. How old is your inside voice?

Probably about 25. That might make me immature, I’m not sure. But I sure as heck don’t feel my age.

7. If you could be a hero, who would you be?

Harry Potter. What could be better than being able to do all sorts of magic?

8. Favorite drink to bring to the DIK party?

An appletini. It’s got everything – tastes like candy, lots of liquor and something good for you (apple, of course)!

Yum!! That sounds really good and I’m sure it’s five o’clock somewhere!

Can’t Stand the Heat – Available now from Red Sage

Savannah chef Marissa Walker thought she was through with her gambling ex-husband, Billy when he left for Atlanta. When their boss brings Billy back into her life, she’s forced to keep her emotions and her libido in check as they compete for the position of Head Chef. Little does she know that Billy’s gambling debts followed him to Savannah along with a dangerous bookie willing to do whatever it takes to make Billy pay. Billy’s deceit threatens to undermine the growing trust between the exes. Marissa realizes she’s the one who’s gambled not only her career, but her heart as well.

Welcome! I read through the interview with my husband and he says he would bring a knife, flint & a plastic tarp to the island... I don't really think he understands the party concept here ;)
