Hold onto your lips, it’s happening.
The mustache that was so prominent in the 70’s and 80’s, is returning. Okay, so maybe not on people’s faces, but at least in stores. I can’t go into a store or peruse blogs without seeing some type of mustache merchandise.
For example:
Awww…also could turn naughty if you start drawing mustaches in certain places.
What time is it? It’s mustache o’clock.
I think we all need this with the cold weather ahead.
Even my son came home from school wearing a mustache:
For more mustache décor, check out Etsy.
And a certain someone who is a fellow DIK blogger sent me this!!
Thank you Kris. As I told her, my hubs ripped off a mustache post-it note and stuck it right on my face. *giggles* And with the pen I can doodle ‘staches all day.
So will this ‘stache frenzy find its way to romance books? Yes, Kaki Warner gives us some great mustached heroes in her historical western books. But I’m waiting for the mustached contemporary hero. Who is with me?
Anyone?

I so regret not trying out the post-it stache before I sent them to you. Me thinks I might go back to the store and see if they have any left... you know, just to be sure that the product is consistent and all. ;P
I have to admit that I'm not a huge fan of the stache but I like all the merch! lol
I hate to admit this but when I first started reading romance books I would actually not buy a book if the man had any facial hair. I was only about 12 or 13 at the time and as that was well over twenty years ago I can say my opinions have changed. I am okay with the stache now, well certain staches. With a fuller mustache I prefer that a beard accompany it because without a beard I just think porn star when i see a fuller stache and not the good kind of porn star either.
