I make the hubs brush his teeth and shower before anything goes down (no, not literally.) And when I read the novels where the heroine goes back in time, I think, "Seriously? Why not bring him forward? You can have a tampon, a nice bathroom to clean up in afterward, an epidural for when you end up having that baby that was conceived in his dungeon when he thought you were a witch but fell for your gorgeous brown eyes, and you his..." Anyway, people always ask me what I would take with me if I were stranded on a deserted island. Want to know what I tell them? Tweezers. That way, when I'm found and my face is plastered all over the news, I don't have a unibrow, mustache, and 6-inch armpit hair. I'll have plenty of time to pluck it all. I've been deserted for Pete's sake...Six of Ushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17253633685404645396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8012664417591303836.post-11842061561572078742011-06-25T20:18:13.420-07:002011-06-25T20:18:13.420-07:00Great post. Right alongside morning bad breath comes one of my biggest puleese moments, which is sex first thing in the morning, before anyone has emptied their bladder. Neither of them has to go to the bathroom? Come on, they've been going at it all night, cuz let's face it, once is never enough, and even if they got up to go in the middle of the night, they'd still have to release before doing the deed, right?Lorrainenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8012664417591303836.post-12930180210803482062011-06-20T13:16:43.073-07:002011-06-20T13:16:43.073-07:00Aurian: Thanks...yea, icks don't get in the w...Aurian: Thanks...yea, icks don't get in the way of a good read. When you really think about things that (don't) happen, you are so absolutely right! I totally agree with you on the personal hygiene parts, I have had those thoughts a few times as well. And am still reading romance.

I don't know about personal Ick-moments, have to think about it some more.

Thank you for a wonderful blog/read.Aurianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04538247058229504410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8012664417591303836.post-53072267830422125472011-06-20T06:58:25.527-07:002011-06-20T06:58:25.527-07:00Always glad to point something out.Always glad to point something out.SidneyKayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15119124523795475294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8012664417591303836.post-89172712063584432972011-06-20T05:21:35.704-07:002011-06-20T05:21:35.704-07:00Another fabulous post by Kay! Some of them, I hadn't really thought about, but I will now have your colorful imagery in mind the next time I read a long carriage ride scene.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05408529059717548450noreply@blogger.com
